• Ad Rem Maximum Impact Comms

This training gives a good overview of strategic communications, an all-rounder that helps reconsider the bigger picture, solidify basics, and trigger creativity for the communications process in all its facets.

Think of communications as a set of steps, a staircase leading up to a level where all the elements can smoothly converge under an overarching message.

To be effective, communications need to follow a logical process, based on a well-defined strategy. Haphazard tactics and tips based only on mass social media trends are of no help if the communications foundation is not solid. Without context, and without sharpened skills, many communications fail.

Your team will go through the gamut of elements that contribute to understanding the communications process. It will cover considerations to make as messaging is being planned, from its core mission source to the formulation of the basic material to be delivered to a wide audience. It will take you through targeting, audience segmentation, brand strengthening, and positioning, with examples that are specific to your field and industry.

Great communications take work. They require subject competence and ground setting that simplistic “how to” lists cannot deliver.

Communicators in-the-making need to be comfortable with numerous forms of communication, whether written, oral, visual, or audiovisual, as they master how to plan content for a variety of platforms.

They must learn to consider all the elements that strengthen the message and consolidate engagement, as well as learn how to select the best style and tone for content that will be included in the maximum impact training, such as:

  • Social media posts

  • Blogs and vlogs

  • Press releases

  • Precision emails

  • Titles and subject lines

  • Pitches for engagement or action

An overview of basic public speaking considerations will also be covered, including speech preparation and speech giving, media interview basics, panel participation and discussions. This will also give pointers on visuals and physical presentation, whether in person or online. A more focused training or coaching on these important public speaking skills is also offered in our separate, dedicated Ad Rem Public Speaking.

A more focused training on these important content creation skills is also offered in the separate, dedicated Ad Rem Content Creation.
